Friend,
Monday was the deadline to submit a public comment calling on the EPA to strengthen the Cross-State Air Pollution Rule—but luckily for us, they just extended the window.
You might remember this as the "good neighbor rule"—the one that would save lives and reduce hospital visits by calling for upwind states to limit their pollution and protect downwind states.
This unexpected extension means we can make a bigger impact and send more comments in favor of expanding clean air protections. But it also means that Big Polluters could see our momentum and use the bonus time to try to drown us out.
We saw you hadn't signed a public comment yet. Will you take one minute today to sign your name and call for stronger clean air provisions? We'll submit it directly to EPA decision-makers!

Before we asked our grassroots team to step up, the EPA had only received 37 total comments on this rule. As of today, our team alone has sent in 3,219 official public comments. We're setting a goal of submitting at least 2,000 more, and we need you with us.
We can win this. Join thousands of your fellow climate advocates and take real, substantial action right now.
Together,
Team Evergreen
