Republican candidate for Senate Leora Levy issued a statement calling the situation at our southern border an invasion and demanding the Biden Administration prioritize national security and bolster its weak immigration and border policies. Statement From Leora Levy on the Southern Border: “The invasion currently occurring at the border is a matter of national security that must be addressed immediately. What we are seeing with the migrant caravan is that Biden does not have a handle on the southern border; his weak immigration policies are leading to this result. Under Biden, our immigration system has become a joke with 7,000 border crossers being encountered daily by DHS and even more expected in the coming summer months. “Simply put, this invasion does not just have an impact on southern border states, it has made every state a “border state,” as criminals, illegal drugs, human and sex trafficking, terrorists and other problems flood into our communities.
