Hi there,
Since Kim Crockett was endorsed by the GOP last month, she has doubled down on her hyper-partisan rhetoric - and we’re not the only ones who have noticed. Here’s what MinnPost had to say:
“Crockett seems to enjoy careening from one controversy to the next, ones often of her own making. But now Crockett has veered into the antisemitic lane and shifted into high gear. She needs to hit the brakes. Now.”
At her state convention, Crockett showed a video that used a classic antisemitic trope - showing Jewish philanthropist George Soros - as a puppet master manipulating the strings of a prominent Jewish attorney and Steve Simon (who is also Jewish).
This kind of ugly imagery fuels extremism, hatred, and violence. It has no place in Minnesota politics, and every candidate should condemn it.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Rather than apologize or even back away, Crockett has been defiant - even fundraising off her defense of the video, calling the condemnations "contrived and bogus political attacks."
We can’t trust Steve’s opponent to be fair and impartial with Minnesota’s election system. Extremists and their enablers don't belong in the Office of Secretary of State..
Thanks,
Team Simon
