This November’s election means everything for the future of Arkansas. Voters have a choice: Do we want our state to go down a path of extremism, division, and the same-old same-old politics? Or, do we want to choose a path of hope, faith, and opportunity for everyone?

I’m not afraid to say that a Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders would be devastating for Arkansans. For years, she’s been attached at the hip with Donald Trump, a twice-impeached president who sparked a rebellion intended to overturn a lawful election. She believes that just because of her family connections, this race is already said and done.

Well, that’s not true. I am officially her opponent running against her — and I’m determined to win this election and build a better future for our children.

Her campaign has received an outpouring of support from elites and far-right supporters across the country. If they drown out our message, they will deny Arkansas families the opportunities we can bring if we win in November. Can you pitch in $20 toward this campaign today? [[link removed]]

I believe we should be known by the company we keep. Just this past week the former leader of the extremist group Proud Boys, Enrique Tarrio, and other members have been charged with seditious conspiracy in the coordinated attack on the U.S. Capitol.

After this news came out, a photo of my opponent resurfaced of her pictured with Tarrio. But she has yet to denounce the Proud Boys or any of these anti-American insurrectionists who tried to overthrow our democracy.

The contrast between me and my opponent couldn’t be any clearer. I’m keeping company on the campaign trail with union workers, teachers, students, and everyday Arkansans alike — to discuss the solutions that could make significant differences in their lives.

We can’t allow her politics of fear, hate, and extremism anywhere near the Governor's office. Arkansans deserve a leader who is going to fight for them, not a far-right agenda.
