John,
Enough is enough. The United States has mourned the loss of hundreds of thousands of adults and children to gun violence. It's shameful that our children live in fear because of the gun violence epidemic in this country.
In 2022 alone, there have been 246 mass shootings in the United States. This needs to end.

We must continue to fight for common-sense demands: universal background checks, ammunition limitations for firearm magazines, penalty enhancements for straw-purchasing a firearm, closing the boyfriend and Charleston loopholes, banning the sale of military-style assault weapons, providing additional counseling and support for youth impacted by urban violence, and more.
I am working with Mothers United Against Violence, Hartford Communities That Care, and other local organizations on the front line who provide services to our communities amid these tragedies and who work tirelessly to try to prevent them.
No place across our nation is immune from gun violence. I've voted to stop these tragedies – and I won’t stop fighting until these senseless tragedies are stopped.
Sign on now to join me in the fight to end gun violence in America.
American lives are at stake.
