With the general election in full swing here in North Carolina, I wanted to take a moment to talk about my friend, Cheri Beasley, and her campaign for US Senate. But first, I wanted to ask if you’d pitch in $5, or whatever you’re able, to our campaigns to defend the House and Senate from Republicans.

There is so much on the line this November, so our campaign is going to to everything in our power to get out the vote for Cheri and other Democrats up and down the ballot.

Like me, Cheri has raised her family here in North Carolina and has dedicated her life to public service. In 2019, she became the first African American woman to serve as Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court. She is a trailblazer and has always acted with integrity, honesty, and a commitment to justice to uphold the Constitution and keep our communities safe, no matter the politics. She’s the leader North Carolina deserves at this moment.

So, can I count on you, John, to split a donation between my and Cheri’s campaign to protect and expand Democrats’ majority in the House and Senate? There is so much on the line, so your donation is truly needed.
