We need to take action to protect native honeybee and bird populations and maintain our food supply.
Friend,
What do apples, almonds, and chocolate have in common? Besides being delicious, they are part of the large portion of our food supply that relies on pollinators to grow.
Right now, over one-third of the world’s food supply is made possible by pollinators like bees, birds, and other wildlife. They are vital to our environment and our way of life. But the widespread use of neonicotinoid pesticides like clothianidin, imidacloprid, and thiamethoxam are killing colonies and destroying the network of pollinators we need to survive. These harmful toxins are so prevalent that they’ve even been detected in honey.
We need to take action to protect native honeybee and bird populations and maintain our food supply. I urge you to join me in calling on Congress to impose limits on the use of neonicotinoid pesticides.
Sign the petition: Restrict harmful pesticides to protect bees, birds, and other pollinators and sustain U.S. agriculture!
