Over the past month, two different Senate Republican attack ads have been pulled down by television stations because they included blatant lies.
Sadly, it’s not surprising. National Republican politicians have increasingly taken to spreading conspiracy theories and undermining our democracy by claiming the 2020 election was stolen. So it’s easy to believe they would lie in their tv ads, too. They’ll stop at nothing to take back the Senate this November, including spreading falsehoods about Democratic Senators and nominees.
Luckily, these two ads running in New Hampshire and North Carolina have been pulled off the air — but we’re certain that Senate Republicans won’t stop here. The disinformation and lies will continue to pour into battleground states and we need to be prepared to fight back to defend our Senate majority.
