Hello,
First of all, I want to say THANK YOU. I know it's not easy to tune in and play a part in running a successful campaign during such a crucial election year. This team has made sacrifices of time, talent, and resources to build a truly grassroots movement.
And because of that work, we're headed to a runoff against Rick Caruso in November. I am ready to roll up my sleeves and tackle the problems our city faces – not looking for credit but looking for solutions.
We have big, urgent problems that need fixing and I know that together, we can get it done.
Now, we take some time to celebrate this victory, but I would be remiss if I didn't talk a little bit about what's next. We've already built a huge grassroots team with offices around the city. That's going to keep happening. We're going to get to work to talk to every Angeleno.
But while that's happening, my opponent is going to be trying to own the airwaves like he did in the primary. We've seen him smash spending records already and it's clear he's trying to buy his way to the top.
This choice could not be any more stark for Los Angeles.
I'm so thankful for what you've done for me. And I'm thankful for the work that will come next. Let's get out there and WIN.
