It’s official, John! I am the Democratic nominee for Iowa State House District 1. I’m so humbled to be given this opportunity.

Will you chip in $10 to help my campaign get out the vote in every corner of our district? If we can get out the vote, we can win this race.

Now that the primary election in Iowa is over – the real work begins.

I’m running for Iowa’s State House District 1 to make sure everyone in my community has every opportunity to succeed.

I’ll be a champion for working families and for small business owners who have been getting the short end of the stick for far too long. 

I’ll be a champion for our public schools, educators and students at a time when they’re under attack by rightwing politicians like Gov. Kim Reynolds.  

And I’ll be a champion for affordable health care for all and will work to reverse the disastrous decision to privatize Medicaid in our state. 

Iowa has given me so much, it’s time for me to give back to my community. I couldn’t be more excited about the upcoming election. Together, we can change the direction of our state for the better.
