Today is World Oceans Day—a time to celebrate and honor our oceans.

A healthy ocean is critical to the survival of all animals, human and nonhuman alike. This is why we must continue to defend our oceans every chance we get.

In 2018, in large part owing to our Ban Death Nets campaign, California banned driftnets. This shows not only the power of our work but that we must keep up momentum.
