Last week, the United Nations' atomic agency, the IAEA, strongly criticized Iran's continued refusal to answer questions about hidden nuclear material the agency found in the country. They also said that Iran now has roughly enough near weapons-grade uranium to produce a nuclear bomb.
The IAEA wants to know what activities produced the traces of uranium it found, where the material is now, and what Iran has done with the related equipment.
Saying that it had given Iran "numerous opportunities" to explain the presence of the material, the agency said, "Iran has not provided explanations that are technically credible."
Iran remains the root of the challenges facing America and Israel in the Middle East.
The regime’s leaders continue to call for Israel’s destruction.
They continue to conduct ballistic missile tests.
They continue to fund and arm terrorists throughout the Middle East.
A nuclear Iran would pose a direct danger to American interests and an existential threat to our ally Israel.
That's why we need your support. By working with AIPAC, you help ensure America’s leaders -- on both sides of the aisle -- stand with Israel to help keep our ally safe and secure.
The mission of AIPAC is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel.
