John,

TWO of Senate Republicans’ attack ads were just taken off the airwaves for deceiving the public.

This is a big deal: TV stations rarely pull down ads. And it underscores the lengths Mitch McConnell and his allies are willing to go to in their efforts to retake the Senate majority. They’ll say whatever it takes to win — including lying to Americans.

This is a big win for our candidates, but the fight isn’t over yet. More deceptive GOP attack ads are coming. We have to keep building the resources to fight back. Anything you can contribute to help — whether it’s $5, $10, or more — will go a long way: [[link removed]]

With less than six months until Election Day, false attacks like these are undoubtedly just the beginning for the GOP. A McConnell-aligned Super PAC committed to spend more than $141 million in advertising — and it’s a safe bet that more attacks, lies, and smears are headed Democrats’ way.

If we’re going to Defend the Senate, then it’s critical we have the resources to respond to anything the other side says, cut through the noise, and ensure voters know the facts about their Senate candidates before they head to the ballot box in November.
