Dear << Test First Name >>,

Have you registered for California Policy Center’s Parent Union Legislative Summit in Sacramento? We’re thrilled to announce additional speakers at this free two-day event June 22-23, 2022!

You’ll hear from key legislative leaders and education reformers about the role parents and child advocates must play in pushing back against the teacher unions’ anti-parent and anti-child agenda.

Speakers will discuss strategies to advocate effectively at the state and local level, how to file Public Records Act (PRA) requests, and critical education and parents’ rights issues such as controversial curriculum and health mandates, and much more.

Join us Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 9:30am-5:00pm, featuring nationally-recognized guests:
* Corey DeAngelis, a leading voice in the school choice movement, will talk about ways advocates can work with the legislature to provide more choice in education.
* Asm. Kevin Kiley (AD-06), a legislative and education reform leader, will speak about the challenges of pushing back against the teachers’ union agenda.
* Katy Grimes, Editor in Chief of California Globe, will share her experience as a long-time investigative journalist covering issues important to parents in the California State Capitol.

Additional speakers include:
* Asm. Megan Dahle (AD-01), Vice Chair of the Assembly Education Committee, former school board member and mother
* Sen. Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh (SD-23), Vice Chair of the Senate Education Committee, former school board member and mother
* Christina Sandefur, Executive Vice President at the Goldwater Institute
* Craig Alexander, General Counsel of California Policy Center and principal of the Law Offices of Craig P. Alexander
* Lance Christensen, Vice President of Education Policy and Government Affairs at California Policy Center

On Thursday, June 23, participate in our special Lobbying Day from 9:00am-2:00pm, where you can join other attendees in meeting directly with legislators to discuss the issues that are important to you!
