Later tonight, the January 6 committee will begin its public hearings, sharing with the country all they’ve learned during their investigation.

And one of the sad, sad, truths we will probably hear about is the shocking number of veterans who participated in the Capitol insurrection.

We’ll probably also learn about the role of far-right media disinformation in the riots, many of those media campaigns targeting veterans who were led to believe the democracy they signed up to defend was under attack and the presidential election was stolen.

One of THE MOST important missions we have at VoteVets this year is to reach veterans who were not at the Capitol that day, but have fallen prey to disinformation campaigns.

Veterans talking to veterans. We MUST get them back. We’re not leaving anyone behind in that effort.
