With the general election officially here, I'm already running neck and neck with my Trump-backed opponent.

Republicans know that our race could decide Senate control, so they're pulling out all the stops to defeat me: Donald Trump has already held massive MAGA rallies to prop up Walker – and Mitch McConnell's super PACs are spending millions to flip this seat. Now, I'm 1 point down in the polls.

Listen, I know a thing or two about beating the odds – I won last year's race by just 2 points in an unprecedented runoff election. But with NBC News analysts calling Georgia this year's "most important swing state," the GOP will do – and spend – whatever it takes to crush me.

I'm running this campaign the right way – without a dime from corporate PACs – so I mean it when I say the only way I can pull ahead and win is with an immediate surge of grassroots support.
