These extremist laws stigmatize LGBTQ+ people, harm children, and threaten civil rights. They help no one and only serve to build political power for the far-right.
LGBTQ+ Americans need help. In today’s America, no one should be discriminated against on the basis of sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity. It’s that simple.
We’ve made great progress in recent decades that should be celebrated, but we still have a ways to go — and we especially need to do more to protect trans and gender-nonconforming Americans.
