Paul Maynard MP, in association with the Thornton Cleveleys Horticultural Society and Burnside Garden Centre, launches a Best Garden of Thornton Cleveleys Competition.
As this is the first time Paul has done such a competition, it is only open to those with an FY5 postcode who live in the constituency of Blackpool North & Cleveleys. If the competition proves popular more areas will be added in future years.
The competition opens on 1st July and you will have until 22nd July to submit your five photographs from your garden. Those short listed will be judged on a criteria specially developed with the support of the Royal Horticultural Society to ensure fairness across the board. There are three categories - which are self-selecting on the entry form - large garden, medium garden, and small/feature garden.
Prizes have kindly been sponsored by Burnside Garden Centre, and will be revealed when the competition is opened on 1st July.
So save the dates and start preparing your gardens for the 1st July until 22nd July. And if you require any further information at this stage then please reply to this email.
