Hey John,

Now that polls have officially closed in California, I wanted to reach out quickly and say thank you so much for all the support you’ve given to my campaign ahead of this election.

Here’s a pic of me and Pam teaching Lily the importance of voting :)

I know it’s going to take some time for all the votes to be counted, but I’m confident once everything is tallied up, we’ll be headed to the General Election in a strong position and with the momentum to keep this seat blue!

I want to say a quick thank you to all of my team and our amazing volunteers who knocked on literally thousands of doors the past few days to make sure voters made their voices heard.

And of course, a big thank you to YOU reading this email - we couldn’t have done this without your support fueling us right up until polls closed. This grassroots team always comes through.

Tonight we get a little bit of rest, and tomorrow we’re back in the fight to protect our democracy!
