Friend,
When Beacon Hill's all-Democrat leadership team was asked -- again -- about temporarily suspending the state's gas tax to give commuters, truckers, and families some relief from record-breaking fuel prices, they said no.
Again and again, they've slammed the door on giving any money back to the taxpayer, despite sitting on a mountain of surplus revenue.
First, the Democrats falsely claimed a gas tax suspension would hurt the state's bond rating, before deriding the proposal as a "gimmick" and a "stunt."
Yesterday, the Democrats called the proposal's success in other states like Connecticut and New York "a myth" before predictably blaming fuel corporations.
That's no myth -- that's Democrat-induced inflation at work.
