It’s official: the margin in TX-28 is so close — just under 0.6 percent — that Jessica Cisneros’ race is heading to a recount.
We’re still very much in this race, and make no mistake, it’s amazing that we’ve gotten so close to beating a 17-year, corporate-backed opponent. To the people who did all they could for this race, just know that our ideas are winning, and we’re playing the long game.
That’s why the next part of our plan is to make sure we can keep the momentum going by continuing to support brave Green New Deal champions — like Kina Collins in Illinois’ 7th District. Her primary is just three weeks away on June 28, so it’s important we throw down for her in this home stretch.
John, we can elect another Green New Deal champion in three weeks. Will you help us support Kina Collins’ campaign to make change in IL-07 by donating today? [[link removed]]

John, for almost a year, our Green New Deal candidates — including Jessica Cisneros and Kina Collins — have been running their campaigns alongside each other. Running bold, progressive campaigns against deeply entrenched incumbents isn’t easy, but we’ve never backed down from the fight or their commitment to a Green New Deal.
Now, we’ve gotten so close to electing Jessica Cisneros, and we’re going to keep fighting until we elect every single one of our Green New Deal champions. And our next chance is Kina Collins’s Primary Day on June 28.
But with just weeks left, we can’t afford to leave anything on the table — that’s where you come in today. Will you donate to support our efforts to elect the next generation of Green New Deal champions in Congress — from Kina Collins to Jessica Cisneros? [[link removed]]
