In recent weeks, senseless gun violence has rocked our communities. Everyday, mundane places that ought to be safe are now monuments to these tragedies.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

Will you sign our petition to end the filibuster so Congress can take meaningful action on gun control?

Guns are the number one cause of death for children in the United States. Over the last twenty years, more children have died from guns than on-duty police and activity-duty military officers combined. We can’t prevent every tragedy, but there are reasonable, common-sense measures that will save lives.

We must stand up to the NRA and the gun lobby before any more bloodshed. But first, we must end the filibuster so the NRA’s puppets don’t get in the way. Then, it’s time for each of us to act. So, please, take a moment and urge Congress to abolish the filibuster and take action to stop gun violence.
