Dear AFGE Activist,
Now more than ever, we must use our collective power to protect and advance equity and justice for our LGBTQIA+ siblings at work, in our union, and in the community. Join WFP this Pride Month as we celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and culture and fight to advance LGBTQIA+ rights.
We are also excited that Capital Pride is back this year! Join WFP and AFGE Pride in Washington D.C. on Saturday, June 11 from 3-7:30pm for the Capital Pride Parade and on Sunday, June 12 from 12-7pm at the Capital Pride Festival.
The AFGE Pride table will be in the Orange Location 203-204. Please click here for the map.
RSVP here to join WFP and AFGE Pride at Capital Pride on June 11 and 12.
Also, if you're attending the 42nd AFGE National Convention be sure to join WFP and AFGE Pride on Tuesday, June 21 from 5:30-7:30pm for the AFGE Pride Workshop to learn more about allyship–what it means, why it matters, and how to do it.
Don’t miss out on these opportunities to connect with your AFGE family this Pride Month!
In Solidarity,
Jeremy A. Lannan
