Madison Cawthorn may have been defeated, but our new Republican opponent, Chuck Edwards, represents more of the same extreme and divisive politics. Take a look:

Cawthorn:

- Helped incite the January 6th insurrection
- Anti-choice and proposed all 50 states implement copycat Texas abortion bans
- Fundraised off of MAGA and special interests

Edwards:
- Refuses to call January 6th an insurrection
- Anti-choice
- Won the primary with $1.4 million of dark money

Cawthorn and Edwards both promote a far right and self-serving brand of politics out of step with Western North Carolina values.

We have the opportunity to elect a representative who focuses on the needs of the people of WNC, not the priorities of the special interests that fund their political ambitions.
