I’m going to make this quick: Today is Election Day in California, Iowa, New Mexico, and South Dakota.
(If you know a voter in one of those states, make sure they know that IWillVote.com has all the information they need to cast a ballot today.)
No matter what, today is an important milestone in the 2022 elections. Let me explain why: Right now we’re a few hours into the busiest primary election day of the year. With more than 20 million Americans able to cast ballots, today kicks off the general election season for a large portion of the country. Plus -- it’s a real kick-in-the-butt reminder that November is going to be here before we know it!
It’s that last point that really jolts me, so I want to repeat it one more time: The November elections -- around which Donald Trump has built an entire plot to install hand-picked secretary of states in an attempt to pre-emptively steal the White House in 2024 -- are right around the corner.
We don’t have any time to waste, team. The American SOS Project is mapping out aggressive plans in battleground states to protect fair elections and save our democracy from Trump’s scheme, but we really need your help if we’re going to make a big enough difference.
