calling

state
lawmakers
to
take
action
on
common-sense
gun
safety
legislation.

leading
a
coalition
of
superintendents,

Department

to
double-down
on

make
major
investments
in
school
safety
measures.

investment
from
Partnership
RI
to
Launch
Public-Private
Initiative
to

Governor
is
also
streamlining
Rhode

grant
writing

application
processes
to
secure
tens
of
millions
in
Biden
Infrastructure
Law
Funding.

Pride
Month
:
On
Wednesday,
June
1,
Governor
McKee
signed
a
proclamation
to
officially
recognize
June
as
Pride
Month
in
Rhode
Island,
and
he
became
the
first
Governor
of
Rhode
Island
to
fly
the
Pride
flag
from
the
State
House.

Public
Health
:
Governor
McKee
was
joined
by
White
House
COVID
Czar
Dr.
Jha
to
open
the
nation’s
first
COVID
test-to-treatment
center
in
Providence.
