I’m reaching out because we have an important deadline at the end of the month. I’ll explain why this is so important in a moment, but if you’re already all in on re-electing Joe this November, can you take a moment to chip in a few dollars to our campaign?

Our quarterly fundraising deadline is in just a few weeks. After we close the books on June 30th, we publicly report everything we’ve raised to the Federal Election Commission – and it’s critical we put forward a strong showing.

That’s because all eyes are on eastern Connecticut as we head into the summer months. Washington Republicans are set on winning a seat in New England this November, and they’re targeting our district as their best opportunity to do just that.

And they’re putting their money where their mouth is – a Kevin McCarthy-aligned super PAC reserved $1.75 million in TV ad space in Connecticut to run vicious attack ads in the weeks leading up to the election.

Washington Republicans will be looking for any signs of weakness in our quarterly report as they plan where they will allocate even more resources this fall. This $1.75 million could be just the beginning, so we’re going to need the full strength of our grassroots team to show Kevin McCarthy and the radical right that eastern Connecticut isn’t up for grabs.

Our people-powered campaign is at its strongest when we all work together. That’s how we’ve re-elected Joe every election cycle since 2004, and how we’ll do it again in November. Can you chip in whatever you can afford today to help our campaign put forward a strong showing at the end of June?
