John,
Primary season is in full swing, and today, we have three endorsed candidates who absolutely MUST perform well to send a powerful message to the GOP that 2020 wasn’t a fluke, and we’re going to keep on flipping America’s heartland blue .

In South Dakota, we have Brian Bengs running to unseat Senator John Thune. Thune is widely considered to be Mitch McConnell’s successor as Republican party leader, should he keep the seat, but whether he can keep it is an open question – Thune is deeply unpopular with his own party’s base after failing to support Donald Trump’s efforts to decertify the 2020 election, and is facing several Trump-loyal Republican challengers, one of whom participated in the deadly January 6 attack on the Capitol.
Thune’s unpopularity with the Republican base opens up a huge opportunity for Brian Bengs in South Dakota, as the hardcore Trumpers may sit this one out, allowing Brian to appeal to Democrats, Independents, and moderate Republicans with a bold populist platform focused on solutions to the kitchen table issues that motivate those voters.
Next up, we have Cora Neumann in Montana’s 1 st Congressional district , who represents one of our best shots at expanding our House majority this year.
Cora ran for U.S. Senate in 2020 before stepping aside for Steve Bullock. She also founded and runs the Global First Ladies Alliance, an organization of First Ladies from all over the world dedicated to helping them use their platforms to effect change.
As a result, Cora already has all of the political relationships and campaign infrastructure she needs to be successful – she just needs our full support to fuel her efforts.
Finally, we have Christina Bohannan in Iowa’s 1 st Congressional district , who is running to unseat freshman Republican Rep. Marianette Miller-Meeks.
This is a prime opportunity to flip a red seat blue, as Rep. Miller-Meeks is reviled by her Trump-loyal Republican base because she voted in favor of the January 6 th investigations . She won her seat in 2020 by just 6 votes, and the district was just redrawn to be slightly less Republican, making it a highly competitive district that she would have lost by 2,000 votes in 2020 if the new boundaries had been in place then.
It’s absolutely vital that all three of these candidates get a HUGE boost of support today, while their campaigns are in the spotlight because of their states’ primaries.

John, these three candidates are some of the best chances we have to protect and expand our majorities in the House and Senate.
We all know what’s at stake if we don’t flip at least two more Senate seats and hold our House majority – we’ll lose Roe v. Wade , no action will be taken on gun safety reform, and we can forget about “Build Back Better.”
So, please, chip in what you can today to help No Dem Left Behind support our candidates in the fight to protect and expand our House and Senate majorities.
