This election is extremely important for us here in CA-9 because I’m on the ballot against multiple Republicans and the top 2 candidates will advance to the general election.
It’s very important we come in first place - we cannot let Republicans win and get the momentum.
This is serious and don’t just take my word for it either… Kevin McCarthy knows this too, which is why he backed one of my extreme GOP opponents and helped attack me with TV ads and negative mailers.
You can probably tell by our emails over the past week that we’re not taking anything for granted. Our team of organizers and volunteers have been on the ground doing amazing, feet-to-the-pavement work. We’ve already knocked on thousands of doors and made tens of thousands of phone calls so that everyone knows how important this election really is!
I’m certain if everyone shows up, we’ll be in a great position by the time results come in tonight. But I’d be lying if I said we haven’t had to spend more money than we originally planned in order to make sure our team had what we needed to get out the vote today.
