As a part of a three-year experimental harm reduction policy, individuals 18 years or older found with 2.5 grams or less of illicit drugs including opioids, cocaine, methamphetamine, or MDMA will no longer face criminal charges or have their drugs seized.

U.S. Economy Added 390K Jobs in May, Exceeding Economists’ Expectations

The Bureau of Labor Statistics on Friday released its jobs report for May 2022, which found the U.S. economy added 390,000 jobs and the unemployment remained at 3.6%.

With May’s gains, overall employment in the U.S. economy is down about 800,000 jobs from its pre-pandemic level in February 2020.
