A NOTE FROM CHRISSY: We are through our primary election, and now the general election is officially underway. With your generous support, we're building the momentum needed to win in November - and with so much happening, we're not letting up. It's been a busy month for our office, so here's what you might have missed:

60 TOWN HALLS FOR PA-06

In 2017, I pledged to run an open and transparent office that is rooted in our community. And that's exactly what I've done. I'm excited to say we held our 60th town hall last month, marking an important milestone for our office. I held my very first Chester County town hall in the same library back in 2019, just days after I was sworn in. Since then, I've remained accessible and transparent to my community, holding an average of 1.5 town halls a month. I believe constructive dialogue with my constituents is key to making progress for our state and look forward to more town halls in the future. ADDRESSING THE BABY FORMULA SHORTAGE & INFLATION

Being a new parent is tough. I’ve been there myself. So, you can imagine how alarmed I was by the national baby formula shortage that has impacted millions of new parents and families across the country. That’s why I joined a bipartisan group asking President Biden to invoke the Defense Production Act so that we could boost baby formula production and swiftly address this critical issue. With ongoing supply chain shortages and price hikes due to inflation, it’s critical we work to lower costs and protect the earnings of hardworking Pennsylvanians. That’s why I’m proud to be working on passing the COMPETES Act, which will protect the supply chains of semiconductor chips, help lower costs of goods, and support local jobs.

PREVENTING GUN VIOLENCE

Last month, an 18-year-old with an assault rifle walked into Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, and opened fire, killing 19 children and two teachers. This deadly shooting marks more than 200 mass shootings this year already. Enough is enough. There are no right words in a moment like this because words are not what our children and families need. What we need and deserve is action. There are solutions that can reduce and prevent gun violence, and I’m calling on the Senate to pass legislation – like universal background checks – to help keep more of our city’s and town’s names from being forever synonymous with bloodshed and tragedy.

PROTECTING REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM

Last month, our nation was shocked when a leaked draft opinion showed the Supreme Court of the United States’ intention to overturn Roe v. Wade. If the Supreme Court repeals Roe, 13 states will immediately ban or restrict access to abortions, putting the lives of millions of Americans at risk. It has never been clearer: Reproductive freedom in America is under threat. That’s why I’m advocating for everyone to have the fundamental right to make their own health decisions.

STRENGTHENING FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS

Before coming to Congress, I helped build and scale several businesses right here in Southeast Pennsylvania, so I am all too familiar with the challenges all entrepreneurs (particularly female entrepreneurs) face competing in our 21st-century economy. That’s why I’m proud to say the Women-Owned Small Business Program Transparency Act – a bipartisan bill I co-wrote – has received support from both Democrats and Republicans. This legislation will create a more fair playing field that elevates female entrepreneurs by acquiring up-to-date information on how our federal dollars are awarded.

That’s all for this month, but stay tuned for more updates on my fight for progress in the Commonwealth and across the nation.

In case you don’t know, I take time every week to call back constituents who've contacted our office. These conversations keep me grounded in the most urgent issues facing our community. I hope I hear from you soon!

There is work to be done.

While Chrissy is delivering progress to PA-06, her MAGA radical opponent is working to take our district backward. With the general election underway, Chrissy will need all the resources she can get to fight back and win. So we need to ask:

Will you make a donation to help reelect Chrissy to Congress? Your support will make such a difference in our work to defend this seat and keep the House blue.
