Hi there, disinformation activists are running for Secretary of State in 18 states this year.

If these candidates, including my opponent, win, their victory would be disastrous for election integrity across the country.

But they’re not doing it alone. Ultra-wealthy far-right backers, like Mike Lindell, have jumped into these races, lending support and resources to help defeat people like me.

Mike Lindell told the New York Times he has gotten involved because “he believes ‘most’ secretaries of state are corrupt and should all be replaced.”

He’s wrong. By and large, secretaries of state of both parties have done their jobs with integrity.

But this isn’t stopping people like Mike Lindell and other disinformation activists from spreading lies. We need to be able to correct the record and lead with the truth. We need to raise another $10,000 this week. Will you consider chipping in $5 or whatever you can right now?

This new crop of election-denying candidates and their wealthy backers are really alarming because they seem to be driven by a preferred election outcome, not a fair process.

The truth is: Minnesota’s elections are fair, secure and accurate.
