Over the past five months, more than 4,000 AIPAC members have contributed to pro-Israel candidates for Congress through the AIPAC Political Portal to help strengthen the U.S.-Israel alliance.
Our nationwide grassroots movement is having an immediate impact.
So far this election cycle, 98% of our featured candidates have won their primary elections – including six who defeated anti-Israel candidates who would have undermined the U.S.-Israel relationship.
We have quickly demonstrated that our community is a major force in the 2022 election cycle.
And our detractors are taking notice.
In The New York Times, Bernie Sanders said of his fight with AIPAC and the pro-Israel community, “This is a war.”
The battle has just begun, and we must always be strong enough to win – through the rest of this election and for the foreseeable future.
We know Bernie Sanders, Justice Democrats and the Squad will work to rally their movement in the face of recent defeats – and so we must redouble our commitment to ensure our candidates always have the resources and support they need to win.
There will be victories and inevitable setbacks along the way, but our determination and conviction will never waver.
Together, we will continue to be the political force we must be to help keep Israel strong and America more secure.
