I have some exciting news: Today, I am proud to announce my campaign to represent FL-27 in Congress. I’m going to explain why I’m in this fight, what’s at stake, and why I need you with me, but before I do: Will you help me kick off this campaign in the strongest position possible by chipping in $5, $25, or whatever you can spare now?
John, I’ve been fighting my entire life – whether it was fleeing Colombia alone at a young age after a Marxist terrorist group kidnapped my father, coming to Alabama fighting to learn English and graduating college, or working to build a small business and achieve the American dream. And I couldn’t be more proud or grateful to have had you by my side in the fight to become the first Latina Democrat elected to the Florida State Senate, and again in the race to become the first Latina governor of Florida. But now, our fight looks different: We are about to enter a world in which my daughter has fewer rights than I did, a world in which far-right extremists are doing everything in their power to chip away at some of our most basic rights. I’m running for Congress because South Florida desperately deserves a leader fighting for us in Washington, and I know we can win this ultra-competitive race, but I’m going to need your help. Will you make a contribution to help us build a people-powered campaign and flip this seat blue?
Gracias, Annette |
Annette Taddeo is running for Congress because South Florida deserves leadership who will fight for us -- but she can't get there alone.
