Since 2004, Democracy for America has been a people-powered progressive organization dedicated to building the resources it takes to elect bold leaders in all levels of office across all 50 states, in order to create a government that truly represents and works for the people.

And wow, has a lot changed since 2004… In a time when Trump and Republicans are hellbent on destroying democratic norms and plunging our country into chaos, our work to replace outdated career politicians with fresh, bold progressives has never been more important.

The GOP has launched attacks on our healthcare system, rolled back reproductive freedom and protections for the LGBTQ community, traumatized and scapegoated immigrants and children, destroyed our environment...the list goes on.

And in some cases, establishment Democrats haven’t done enough to make much of a difference. But with your help, I know we can continue to shake up the system -- and win.

Together, we’ve raised over $64 million for our progressive candidates, made over 25 million voter contact phone calls on behalf of candidates, and elected over 1,000 people to office -- yes, really!

With 2020 right around the corner, we’re doubling down on our efforts and getting ready to elect progressive leaders all across the country who will better represent the New American Majority: people of color and white progressive voters. But we need to know where you stand as we prepare for the toughest fight yet.
