Shortly before the
fall of Saigon, my family immigrated to the US to escape the realms of communism sweeping East Asia. Inspired by the opportunities given to my family
in this great nation, I decided to dedicate my life to serving this country.
I was accepted into the Naval Academy
and from there I began my 25 years of service deploying to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia.
It wasn’t until the fall of Kabul, much
like the Fall of Saigon, that I became motivated to serve my country in Congress.
