We officially launched our Polk County Attorney Exploratory committee in late March of 2021. It’s been a great (and yep, exhausting, when you still work your regular job on top of campaigning) 15 months or so, listening to folks all over Polk County. No matter the outcome, I would not trade the last 15 months for an easier path. Listening to you, hearing your stories, has changed me for the better. I’ll carry this campaign and all its experiences with me, always.
We’re now about 24 hours away from election results.
I’m prepared to work every single day for a more just justice system, and to challenge anyone who wants to take us back in time. Forward is the way.
We have the right priorities for both safety and justice reform. We must have both. We can do this.
