John,
It’s been a few months since I last emailed you. I’m Wynne — Tom Winter’s mom! As you may recall, I talk to Tom every day about what he’s up to on the campaign trail. And in recent weeks, he’s told me just how busy he has become in the lead-up to the primary election coming up tomorrow.
In fact, he tells me he’s been so busy talking to voters that he’s had almost no time to work on his fundraising efforts!
So I’m doing what any good mom would do and personally reaching out to some of Tom’s top supporters and asking them to make a donation to his campaign ahead of his final fundraising deadline of this primary. Can you help me out and make a grassroots donation right away?
I’ve been all in from day one of Tom’s campaign. Montanans are working as hard as ever — but thanks to corporate greed and corrupt Republicans, life just seems a lot more precarious than it was when I was raising Tom and his siblings.
My son is ready to put in the tough work to give our democracy a chance. Tom is a hardworking, courageous person, with a huge heart, who will seek solutions to solve problems, particularly in challenging times, and bring us together. He knows the future of our country is at stake if we don’t defeat corrupt politicians like Ryan Zinke.
But before he faces off against Zinke, he has to win this competitive primary. Mail in ballots are being returned every day — and it’s expected that about half of total votes cast in this election will be completed before election day!
That’s why it’s so important that he reaches this final fundraising deadline — in order to have the resources to communicate with the key remaining voters who haven’t already turned in their ballot. So please, rush a donation today to help Tom reach his $5,000 goal!
Thank you,
Wynne (Tom's mom)
P.S. While a lot of politicians spend the last days of a campaign buttering up rich donors, Tom thinks talking directly to voters is more important. Just like I used to make sure he didn’t get so busy he’d forget to eat, I’m here today to make sure his campaign can still keep the lights on! Will you
contribute today?
