Friend,

I want to direct your attention to something Attorney General Maura Healey said a little less than a year ago:
Oddly enough, Healey didn't have a problem with the voter ID requirement put in place over the weekend at the MassDems nominating convention, which saw delegates vote overwhelmingly to make her their gubernatorial nominee.

I can't fault the Democrats for wanting to ensure the integrity of their nomination process. But if they have so little trust in themselves to not engage in voter fraud, what makes them so certain that it can't happen in Massachusetts elections?
I'm glad the Democrats used a voter ID system at their convention, because if they can't trust themselves, we certainly can't trust them, either.

File this one away in the back of your mind the next time someone like Maura Healey calls people "racist" for supporting a voter ID requirement.

In the meantime, we've got some work to do to help our slate of Republican candidates win this fall.

Thank you for your continued support.

Yours,
