Today and every day, we’re celebrating Emerge’s LGBTQIA+ alums who’ve WON historic firsts at every level of government – from Congress to city council. 

We’re celebrating Emerge alums like Danica Roem and Brianna Titone, two of the first openly transgender legislators in the country, and Leslie Herod, Colorado’s first African American LGBTQIA+ legislator, who are all bringing new voices to our decision-making bodies and driving real change right now.
