Join us as we reclaim the promise of Title IX together.

Hi John,

This month, the National Women’s Law Center will host a three-part series to discuss the history and future of Title IX, kicking off tomorrow with Keeping Our Girls in School: Fostering Inclusive Learning Environments for All Girls to Thrive, featuring Judith Browne Dianis from the Advancement Project, Schaherzade Tillet from A Long Walk Home, Jessica Lee from the Pregnant Scholar, and many others.

The panel series will begin tomorrow at 1 p.m. ET—and will continue every Tuesday for the month of June.

Panelists will discuss the many barriers facing students particularly, girls of color. Too often, girls of color are denied the opportunity for an education because they are pushed out of their learning environments. Students are often denied accommodations for pregnancy and parenting, are subjected to exclusionary discipline and policing, or denied culturally affirming practices.

RSVP: Join us as we celebrate 50 years of progress, discuss our challenges as a movement and begin charting a new path forward. We would be delighted to have you join us.

WHAT: Virtual Panel Series - Reclaiming the Promise of Title IX

Title IX provides broad civil rights protections and has helped us make so much progress for students, some people are trying to use Title IX to hurt students. In fact, the previous administration misrepresented the values that inspired the law and took steps to significantly weaken enforcement.

Here is the truth. Title IX is about giving every student a fair shot at success. It’s about fairness and equality. It is time to reclaim our values, our voices, and our stories.

Join us tomorrow for a timely conversation.

In solidarity,
