Folks, I’m wishing my LGBTQI+ friends a very Happy Pride Month!

This month – and every month in between – I’m proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with so many strong activists who fight to advance the rights of the LGBTQI+ community. Their contributions to Alabama and our nation as a whole are invaluable.

I’ve always believed that no matter your identity or who you love, our country was founded to be a home that supports, uplifts, and empowers you.

As a public servant, it’s my responsibility to not only advocate for the LGBTQI+ community but also to amplify their voices in Congress. These duties sit at the heart of how our elected officials should lead our country.

Pride Month serves as a reminder that love is one of the most important parts of life. It inspires celebration, community, and equality for all.
