While Ted Cruz spoke on stage at the NRA convention...
Lina Hidalgo protested outside it.
And while Texas Republicans shirked responsibility and deflected honest questions…
Texas Democrats stood up for compassion, unity, and action.
Across the state, Texas Republicans have utterly failed to meet the moment and deliver the change that Texan families are demanding.
These leaders shouldn’t be allowed to neglect the will of the majority of Americans.
