John, the National Hotline is just one link in a chain of actions that Polaris is taking to eradicate the crime of human trafficking for good. Here's what that chain looks like:
1. Running the National Hotline, the first point of contact for victims, survivors, or people who want to help individuals in a trafficking situation who can’t reach out themselves. It is also how we provide access to trauma-informed support and direct services.
2. Building one of the largest public data sets on human trafficking in the United States, digging deeper to learn how the business of human trafficking really works, in real-time.
3. Turning knowledge into action, designing targeted strategies that change entire systems that enable trafficking to flourish.
4. Enlisting law enforcement and other public and private-sector partners to prevent and disrupt human trafficking at scale.
