Friend, Tomorrow is the day we’ve been waiting for: it’s the New Mexico primary election! This is the moment we’ve been working so hard toward so that we make it onto the general election ballot and defeat MAGA extremist Yvette Herrell in November. For the past nine months, we’ve built a movement for positive change across New Mexico’s 2nd District, truly powered by people like you. A movement for an economy that works for working families, the conservation of our public lands, aggressive action on climate change, reproductive choice, affordable and accessible health care, and our fundamental right to vote in free and fair elections. The only way we can achieve those things is by electing a representative who will fight for them, and fight for us — not a far-right agenda or corporate special interests. For the past year and a half, Rep. Herrell has tried dragging our district, and our country, backward with her right-wing conspiracy theories, election lies, and harmful agenda. When we defeat her in November, I will fight for you in Congress and move NM-02 forward. But we have to win tomorrow’s primary first, and that means continuing to get out the vote and reaching every last voter until the polls close.
I am forever grateful to every person who’s supported our campaign to give NM-02 the leadership we deserve in Washington. Thank you for being with me on this journey.
