In 1973, the Supreme Court set a historic precedent when they legalized abortion access nationwide in the landmark decision Roe v. Wade – an outcome that has protected millions of Americans' health since.

Now, 49 years later, abortion rights have never been more fragile.

The leaked draft from the Supreme Court last month indicates that SCOTUS plans on overturning Roe v. Wade. As a result, 26 states are likely to enact strict abortion laws – some would even make abortion a felony.

This is simply unacceptable. Republican politicians should not have a say over anyone's reproductive rights.
