We are sad to share that Alaska state contact Frank Turney has passed away.

In Memory of Frank Turney

I'm afraid I have some sad news to share. On the Monday before Thanksgiving, long-time FIJA Alaska state contact and juror rights educator Frank Turney passed away.

This Thanksgiving weekend, we are grateful to have had Frank Turney fighting for fully informed juries for so long. We are heartbroken that he is gone.

Though they can never be enough, I have done my best to honor him with some words and photographs about his dedicated work to ensure fully informed juries for all. I am very grateful to our board members and former executive director for sharing their remembrances of Frank.
