John,
This Tuesday is Giving Tuesday1--the day that kicks off our most important fundraising month of the year. Did you know that organizations like us, that rely on grassroots support to fund our work, raise over half our yearly budget in December alone?
That means how much we raise in the coming weeks will determine how ambitious we can be in all of 2020. This Giving Tuesday, can you help us jumpstart our goals and reach 500 new monthly donors to power us into 2020?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Chip in $5 a month
Chip in $10 a month
Chip in $25 a month
Chip in $50 a month
Chip in another amount
Or, make a one-time gift here.
2020 is going to bring some of the biggest challenges we’ve ever faced. This election year is our last chance to push politicians who’ve failed our generation out of office and usher in a new wave of leaders who are committed to stopping the climate crisis while there’s still time. If we achieve that, 2020 could launch the decade of the Green New Deal.
But to get there, we need to go all-in. So we’re making big plans: We’re launching 6 new field organizing teams to canvass for GND champions and get out the vote in swing states; we’re scaling up to train over 100,000 new young leaders to plan protests and strikes, start hubs, and work to bring a Green New Deal to their communities; and more.
To push their agendas, our opponents can just reach into the fossil fuel billionaires’ deep pockets. But to stand up to them, we rely on small monthly gifts from thousands of people like you.
Can you help us get a head start on our Giving Tuesday goals by chipping in monthly so we can go as big as possible in 2020?
Yes, I can start a monthly donation to power Sunrise into the new year.
No, but I can make a one-time gift.
Thanks for pushing our movement forward every step of the way.
