Happy Pride John,

We’re entering Pride month in the middle of a challenging year for our community, especially LGBTQ+ youth. We know our fight to protect students is far from over, but at GLSEN, we will always rise up.

Whether it's working to end violence in schools, defending trans students’ right to participate in sports, or stopping LGBTQ+ erasure in classrooms and curriculum, we won’t back down until all students can feel safe being proud. 

This Pride, we’re rising up for LGBTQ+ youth.

Find ways to make your voice heard – register to vote, urge your lawmakers to protect young people in schools, or join your next local school board meeting: [link removed]

And, as we work together to improve education for all students, let’s remember that our joy is a radical act. Let’s rise up for our rights and celebrate what makes our community vibrant and powerful.
