As I was making my decision to run for Congress again, I was on a run around the neighborhood when I passed a sign from my previous campaign staked in someone’s lawn. It took me by surprise, and I knew I had to talk to the person who had kept it there all this time.
When I asked the woman who answered why she kept my sign up, her response was: “I’ll give up when you give up.”
In the past few weeks, I’ve been reflecting on this story more and more, and feeling as determined as ever to win this fight. I am not giving up, and I know you won’t either.
